About VCC

Our vision:
Victory is a thriving and caring community, of health, hope and possibility.

Our mission:
Well-being for people and community.
– We provide accessible support and activities.
– We collaborate and advocate.

We are located on the campus of Victory Primary School. While we are separate organisations, we work together as partners sharing some policies and procedures, and support each others work, with projects like Kia Toa (Be Victorious).

We are also there to work closely with staff for the benefit of the families who have children at this school.  We have a Memorandum of Understanding to acknowledge our unique partnership approach.

Health & Family Support:
A key part of what the centre offers is Be Well Support – a holistic family health approach offered by our Be Well Nurse, Penny Molnar.

VCC also has several other health and family support partners, such as counsellors, midwives, and Plunket Nurse, who all work from the community centre.

Hours are listed in the Health & Family Support Weekly Schedule, on the Welcome page.

Activities & Events:
Our Victory on the Move program offers lots of classes, workshops, meet-ups, and events happening at VCC … there’s something for everybody. Grab a friend, come along, and join in!

All activities and events at VCC are listed in the Activities and Events schedule.
