Be Well Support

Our mission is well-being for people and community – we provide accessible support and activities to improve the health and well-being of you, your whanau and the community.

A key part of what we offer is Be Well Support – a holistic health support service which is run by our Penny Molnar, our Be Well nurse.

Penny is a ‘first stop’ for any issues or questions you have about health, housing, food, budgeting, welfare, etc.

She will work together with you to figure out the best solution and put you in contact with good people and organisations in Nelson to help you get things sorted out as quickly as possible.

Penny will provide you with information, advice and support on any issue  that impacts the health and well-being of your family.

This service is free and totally confidential.

You don’t need an appointment – just drop in and talk with Penny any time that you need someone to listen and give you a helping hand.

– Dietary advice
– Respiratory illness guidance
– B4School checks
– Cervical screening
– Hearing checks
– Sexual Health advice
– Alcohol & Drug information
– Pregnancy tests
– Eye tests
– After Hours Nurse Clinic
– Referrals to doctors and medical specialists
– Referrals to other social services in Nelson

Penny is a registered nurse, a qualified social worker and a Well Child Nurse. She has many years experience in a wide range of community health and development areas.
